When I refer to the ‘Democratic Party’, please understand I am not directly pointing my words at any original or old time Dem. I specifically have in mind the most recent additions, along with those of the past twenty or thirty years.
Having friends and family that are Democrats, and I myself as an independent voter (although registered Republican), I remain respective of their choices and decisions.
In the 2016 Election, my motivation was more of a NO choice for Hillary Clinton than a YES for Donald Trump. As a Business person myself, I was not surprised by many of his decisions, and much of the public reaction. Our Nation has always been ruled by Politicians, and we are quite indoctrinated to their way of doing things. I refer to the “Pomp and Circumstance”, and the diplomatic manner of actions and speaking.
What I do have a problem with is the heavy reliance on “Political Correctness” in our day-to-day lives.
This, I feel, has diminished our Society to a world of over-sensitive, wimpy weaklings, who have lost all self confidence.
Where is the all-for-one and one-for-all, do-or-die strength that prevailed in the forties and fifties, when we went to war against heavy odds. We were fighting for our freedom and liberty. We were fighting for each other and our Allies.
We were a kind, compassionate society, willing to give all for our way of life, and help those in need.
As a Democratic Republic under the Capitalistic economy, we have fared quite well. What I see happening now, is the greedy selfish all-for-me and to-hell-with-you attitudes that have permeated our Nation. Capitalism encourages Entrepreneurial progress, not personal and individual gain.
Where did it come from? How did it start? And more importantly how do we revert to our real selves?
Perhaps we should have been more discreet in allowing Immigration to anyone that came knocking at our door. We were fighting enemies that wanted to kill us for our way of life. Why do we let others, for the same reason, just walk into our parlor?
They have been invited here by those who thirst for power and money. They obviously think once they cross the border they will have an abundant life. Do they not realize this came at a tremendous cost.?
As I see it, our past thirty years we have been indoctrinated by those who felt the power and riches would come directly to them through manipulation, lies and fraud. And they have proved themselves right.
The Democratic Party, and it’s most recent inductees have used the open borders, the slack in vetting Immigrants, and other means to entice the influx of these undesirables. They promise them all the goodies that our fore-bearers fought and died for. The Democratic Party of today has lied blatantly to the Minorities and new-comers to our shores.
Our Congress is no longer working for us; they are working to destroy us.
